Program
About the Program: My affiliate program is by application only. Why? Because most affiliate programs suck. Either the merchant doesn't pay much money to the merchant (Amazon pays 4%), or the affiliates don't do much promoting. If you've heard of the 80/20 rule, with affiliate marketing it's more like the 98/2 rule -- in many cases, 98% of affiliates don't sell anything for the merchant.
I've fixed my part of the bargain - you'll get a full 51% commission on every sale you make. Your end is to write in to let me know how you plan to actively market the guides -- e.g., your web site, your email list, or something else.
That's all -- there's no long process or anything, but I want to know you will take it seriously. In turn, I'll take your partnership seriously and help you any way I can with the marketing.
About the Products: I create products designed to improve people's lives in unconventional ways. The Unconventional Guide to Working for Yourself includes 53 pages of written content and 3 MP3 audio downloads designed to help people create personal freedom through a (very) small business.
The Unconventional Guide to Art and Money is all about helping artists take control of their careers using new media.
The Unconventional Guide to Discount Airfare, a 29-page ebook, helps demystify the complex process of finding affordable plane tickets in North America and beyond.
Travel Ninja takes the Discount Airfare Guide a step further by helping aspiring travels go anywhere, anytime.
Three more products are scheduled for launch throughout the rest of 2009. I'm in it for the long-haul, and I'm looking for some great partners to join me.
Show Me the Money: As mentioned, I pay 51% commission on every sale you make with no minimum. I pay out on the first of the month via PayPal, direct to your own PayPal account which you can then immediately withdraw to your bank or spend online to your heart's content. If you make more than $2,000 in any given month, I'll pay out every other week.
Rules: You have to own at least one of my products, you can't cheat by buying products for yourself under the affiliate program, and you can't annoy anyone else by spamming them about my products. I have to approve your site and marketing plan prior to the start of your promotion.
That's pretty much it. Oh, and the logistics for this are independently managed through e-junkie, which will ensure that you always get credit for sales you produce.
